Workshops - for those who are ready to put some of the ideas from the morning into action
With more than 80% of the UK population now online* and more people every day using the web, either via a PC, tablet or smartphone to shop, access information and access services online, most not for profit organisations understand the importance of taking their first steps in digital fundraising. But, if budget and human resources are limited, if you haven't made your first foray into individual giving yet or you feel a bit bewildered by the vast array of digital channels, what's the best way to get started?
Workshop 1 - Rachel Beer
This participatory workshop will help you to unleash some of the untapped fundraising potential your organisation already has through its website and marketing activities and give you the tools to integrate fundraising in a way that makes the most of the opportunities you have in your network. You will learn about some of the different digital channels that can be used to fundraise and how to put these to best use.
Workshop 2 - Sarah Gee
This interactive workshop will allow participants to explore how they might take advantage of new crowdfunding tools.
Workshop attendees will be able to participate in both workshops. Places are limited so please limit your registration to one attendee per organisation. To give everyone equal access, this limitation will be strictly enforced by the event organisers.
